General Rules:
Youth ages are as of Jan. 1, 2010. A youth who becomes 8 during the year is eligible to show as of his/her birthday.
  • Junior Handler - 8 through 11 years old
  • Intermediate Handler - 12 through 14 years old
  • Senior Handler - 15 through 18 years old

    Llamas can only be shown in youth or open performance classes,
    Animal age division as of May 30, 2010
  • Juvenile 5-12 Months
  • Yearling 12-24 Months
  • Two year Old 24-36 Months
  • Adult 36 Months and over

    For example: if an animal is born 5-30-09, then on 5-30-10 the animal must be shown in the yearling class. On a llama`s date of birth, the llama moves up to the next older class.

    Rules will be according to the 2008 ALSA 15th Edition.

    Housing: We will be showing out of our trailers. You can bring panels and set up near trailer. Area needs to be cleaned up upon departure.

    HEALTH REQUIRMENTS: All llamas are to be dewormed 7 days prior and show no signs of infectious diseases.

    AWARDS: Grand, Reserve and performance Champions will receive a monetary award. Ribbons to 6th place will be awarded in each class.

    ENTRIES: THERE WILL ONLY BE A CHARGE PER ANIMAL OF $25.00.
